Each month, the MCJJ teens donate their time to prepare meals for those in need of shelter at Homeless Solutions, Inc. (HSI). Last year, HSI launched a new fundraiser, A Night In The Cold (ANITC). Inaugural year participant Kathryn Tucker and new HSI board member/MCJJ mom Davon Gorman encouraged the teens to expand their support of HSI by participating in the second annual fundraiser. The teens secured pledges and spent the night sleeping outside in the cold temperatures (down to the 40s) to help raise awareness and funds for those who could face this situation daily. The result was 8 teens sleeping outdoors and $4,600+ raised for Homeless Solutions, Inc. Team MCJJ placed #10 on the team leaderboard. Way to go Kathryn, Ethan OE, Olivia, Ethan G, Caleb, Kennedy, Brandon W. and Aidan. What an amazing job they all did!!
